ACNE :

Acne is the most common skin problem. It is most common among males during puberty, due to hormonal changes. It is dependent upon male hormones, such as testosterone, that stimulate the manufacture of sebum.

Long-term use of antibiotics may result in an overgrowth of the yeast candida albicans.

General recommendation :

Avoid drugs that contain bromides or iodides and avoid the use of greasy creams or cosmetic.

Diet :

Eliminate all refined and concentrated sugars from the diet.

Do not eat foods that contain trans-fatty acids, such as milk products, margarine, shortening, and other synthetically hydrogenated vegetable oil and fried food.

Chromium 200-400 mg per day
Vitamin A: a dosage of 25,000 IU
Vitamin E: 400 IU per day
Selenium: 200 mg per day
Zinc: 45-60 mg per day
Vitamin B6: 25 mg three times a day
Pantothenic acid: 2.5 g four times per day for up to two weeks.

Treatment :

Tea tree oil is an excellent antibacterial treatment making it an excellent acne fighter as well as a general purpose wound cleaner. It helps soothe irritations and rashes. It controls acne and dandruff, and treats warts and other fungal infections. As an acne treatment, tea tree oil is fast acting and acts to clear up the skin while calming the effected area.

Bergamot oil has a revitalizing fragrance and it is excellent for treating acne. Bergamot has antibacterial and drying properties making it an ideal spot treatment for existing blemishes. The citrus aroma has a calming effect on the mind and soul. Should not be used full strength except on the advice of a licensed professional physician.

Clove oil is a very potent essential oil that has burning and purifying properties. Some people use it full strength as a spot treatment for stubborn acne, but this is not generally advised. When diluted with carrier oil, clove oil can be applied to the skin to treat emerging or existing breakouts. It is very strong and acts very quickly. Should not be used full strength except on the advice of a licensed professional physician.

Rosewood Oil is highly aromatic and is excellent for people with excessively oily skin. When applied topically it helps reduce sebum production. It also limits breakouts associated with oily skin. The strong drying properties of this oil make it an excellent spot treatment that can be applied throughout the day to effected areas.
